This was an excellent property to stay at as a base to explore the north coast from Point Arena Lighthouse to Ft. Bragg. We were also so close to the Henry Wood Redwoods park to explore and for a beautiful drive through the Navarro Redwoods. Doug was so great to communicate with, attentive via messaging if needed but not intrusive-he lives on the property but we felt like we were the only ones there. He gave wonderful suggestions for activities and grocery options (that was the purpose of messaging). We didn’t get the chance to try out the pool due to weather but the house was the perfect way to relax at the end of the day and in the mornings before we headed out. The beds were comfortable, loved the feel of the bedding. Bathrooms were clean and great! Hot water was plentiful for multiple showers back to back. Cookware and kitchen was great! We didn’t need this during our stay and it didn’t bother us at all but it does not have a microwave if you need one. We did great without it! We would absolutely stay here again!
