Park Life Lamartine

The hotel was great overall and we enjoyed our stay. However, we ran out of water during our stay, only one roll of toilet paper was provided per day, and a few times I called the front desk but nobody answered. These are small things that could be improved to make the guest experience even better.

Room was clean , location was really convenient, walking distance to lots of good coffee shops and restaurants, staff was friendly and helpful

This review is simply me stating the facts. First of all, there's construction going on at the property. I'm not sure what they're doing, but it was from early in the morning till late at night. I could hear it a bit with my door closed but it wasn't horrible. The water in the shower never got hot - it was warm at best. I stayed there 2 nights. After the 1st night the maid came and made the bed - that's it. No new towels in the bathroom, she didn't wash the plate or cup in the sink and didn't refill anything. It was nice to have a little kitchen but there wasn't a towel or paper towels, which would have been nice. I did appreciate that the room had a Nespresso, but the cleaning lady didn't leave new pods or creamer. I got some from the front desk, who were all very nice I should add. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was a good one. Except when I went to bed on Friday night I could hear a local loud music from a restaurant or something nearby. It went on until at least midnight. Would I stay there again? Maybe, especially if I knew I could get hot water out of the shower. The front desk said it should have been hot. It was a good location in Polanco with plenty of food and coffee shops within a very short walking distance.
