Very spacious. Tastefully appointed.
Especially liked the sunroom and proximity to the pub and all the beautiful countryside.
In comparison to the rest of the property the bathroom was tiny. The shower was good, but the size of the room meant only a very small hand basin was available. It was quite difficult to clean your teeth using it.

Really lovely property - well-equipped and comfortable. The location was great, local pub serves good food with friendly staff.

A lovely little quirky well furnished property with a great kitchen. Great little pub across the road which wasn’t noisy at all, served a great pint and lovely food.
The shower room is a bit small but nicely kitted out.

This is a property with history attached so one has to bear that in mind. The location is good and with a good pub opposite it is very convenient for an evening meal or drink. It is spacious. The kitchen is well equipped. Good to have everything on the ground floor.
I didn't like the fact that the windows in the sitting area and bedroom cannot be opened and the fan in the bedroom didn't work so on a hot day or night it is very uncomfortable. Instructions are needed to operate the fans. There is no live TV but one can access BBC i player.
I found the mattress on the bed too soft.
The write up on Booking.com about the 'Deluxe Double Room' needs to be re written to reflect accuracy and truth about the property. There is no Garden view, Inner Courtyard view, Outdoor dining area - there is a small place at the front of the property facing the road but nothing at the back during my stay.
