Very pleasant hotel in a peaceful location, with very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is set above the town, with views towards the outskirts and the surrounding countryside. The pretty church right next door adds considerably to its charm. Parking is available, and it is only a short and pleasant walk into town, crossing the river. The rooms and bathrooms are a good size and comfortable. Complimentary coffee is available throughout the day and can be enjoyed in the outdoor seating area at the front of the hotel, with its views, as well as in the interior courtyard or the communal areas. Breakfast is very good, although there are no hot options. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and actually wished we had booked an extra day simply to slow down and enjoy the place a little longer. One point worth mentioning when setting expectations: this is not a five-star luxury resort that has been completely rebuilt at enormous expense. Rather, it is a beautiful historic building that has been thoughtfully and tastefully refurbished to a very good standard. For us, that character and sense of place were part of its appeal.

The door to our room did not provide much sound insulation. We could hear doors closing and conversations in the corridor, which was occasionally a little disruptive.

La douche etait bouchée, obligé de changer de chambre car il n’y avait pas de technicien. Il faisait très chaud dans les.Chambres et pas de Clim juste un ventilateur d’appoint bruyant. Les chambres très cheap.
