Spacious and comfortable house. A short walk from the Tobu Line station and local shops and restaurants. Also within easy reach of Nikko's main shrines.
Don't be put off by the old photo on Google maps street view- the place has been renovated since that was taken. The house is well-equipped and we appreciated the nice welcoming touches.
Only one small negative: the power supply was weak in some rooms- we had to charge phones in one bedroom.
However, overall, we would recommend Zen Stay Nikko as a very good base for exploring Nikko.
