Wonderful owner. Other guests were lovely and all children were very well-behaved. The heated pool was very nice on the hotter days. Local shops are fairly close by.
Our chalet was very functional.
It was nice having our own outdoor barbecue. Bring charcoal and firelighters!
2 small things I feel I should mention:-
1. The water coming out of the mixer taps in the shower and kitchen could get extremely hot. I think this should be seen to - it’s probably very easy to adjust the boiler to reduce the maximum temperature. My fear is that a child (or - since chalet 4 is used for guests with disabilities) or disabled person could get scalded.
2. There was a hole in the bedroom wall next to the window used (& perhaps made) by ants - who came in at night an bit us! We only discovered the source of the ants when we unpacked to leave.
I stress: these are easily corrected and fairly small things.

very well equipped caravan

we got an aggressive call from the lady manager (owner?) because we hadn’t arrived at the time we said we might - despite us having messaged to say we were delayed. we had a 7 hr journey, and 15 mins before we arrived at the accommodation (at 4.30pm which is the exact time check in opens) we got a call to say we would have to wait 1.5 hrs to check in at 6pm as she was the only one working and she had to buy groceries to cook for the following day. we were told to go and shop or something to pass the time. we had already paid for the weekend and she refused to give a refund. Also they require a full inventory of the accommodation on check in and check out- which meant we were not settled until 6.30 pm the day we arrived.
the caravan had no mosquito nets so you couldn’t open door or windows when cooking without getting the kitchen full of flies and bugs- it was hot even though it was late October - so the summer might be worse.
the internet didn’t work at all, and when we checked out we were told the owner knew this - it would have been helpful for us to know as we were working on our laptop and needed wifi.
