Guesthouse Iago's Winery

Beautiful self contained room. The winery is very picturesque and the owner/winemaker was a wonderful host. The wine tasting was one of our best Georgian experiences with a detailed explanation of the wine making process. Iago was generous with his time and wine - answering all our questions about Qveri natural wine. We were thrilled to learn we can buy his wines at home (Sydney).

The calm, the host and the cleanness. Is a very beautiful place to get in touch with the wine culture, relax a bit, have nice food and get to know Iago who is a really interesting person and his lively family, thank you for hosting us!

A wonderful stay from start to finish! Iago is an exceptional host whose warm, welcoming demeanor made us feel right at home the moment we arrived. Our room was spotless, beautifully appointed, and offered the perfect comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. I would venture to say the accommodation was the most exceptional we stayed in during our 10-day visit to Georgia. The highlight was undoubtedly the wine tasting—Iago's passion and deep knowledge of traditional winemaking made the experience both fascinating and thoroughly informative. Every pour had a story, and the wines were fantastic. An unforgettable visit, and we cannot recommend Iago’s Winery highly enough!

Unfortunately, we were in a hurry to get to the airport and couldn't stay for breakfast. However, what was prepared for other guests looked absolutely amazing!
