The Unicorn is situated right on the Main Street through Llanidloes and is very handy for all amenities. It was especially handy for us as we were visiting a friend who lives along the road! Michael (the proprietor) is extremely helpful and friendly and nothing is too much bother. There are also a resident cat and dog - who are both lovely.
My Mum has difficulty with walking so she found he stairs hard going but we managed. There is no designated parking for the Unicorn but I had no problem parking very close to the hotel, although I suspect this may not be the case in the summer.

Owners were fantastic, but the dog and a cat were even better!

Friendly welcoming owner, the room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast wasn’t included but the owner did offer to make us some, unfortunately we had to leave early so he showed us where the cereal and fruit was and said “help yourself”
