Will not return

It was convenient as it was close to family, it could be a beautiful cottage if properly maintained and cleaned, at the price we paid I expected at least this.

The cottage hadn’t been used in while, so had a fusty smell and there was cobwebs everywhere, also parking was an absolute nightmare, the cottage is at the top of a hill where there is no parking for that property, and trying to get parked on the street down at the bottom was really difficult also. the bed was extremely uncomfortable, and there was no proper hanging space for your clothes, so we lived out our suitcase, I cleaned the room and bathroom, after arriving as I didn’t feel comfortable with it, the kettle was full of limescale so was unusable, so we bought one and left it there, also there was no where to put rubbish so had to keep it inside cottage until our last day then put it out outside, very stuffy inside also in the hot weather even with windows open, made sleeping even more uncomfortable, water doesn’t run very well from taps, shower head was clogged up so had to be cleaned, windows were very dirty, and front of property was full of weeds all around front door, does not look anything like the pictures that were on the website, or we would not have stayed,
