Malika Nungwi Hotel

At this price point, this hotel is a 10/10. It is in walking distance to local bars and restaurants. Nungwi Beach is about a 10 to 15 minute walk. The walk is not bad at all. You can opt to get a Boda Boda or Tuk Tuk ride to the beach, which cost about $1. And finally, the staff are exceptional. Unfortunately, I cannot comment on the breakfast because I never eat breakfast.

Lovely staff. Everyone was helpful. The pool is tired looking but a good size. Food amd drink options are limited. Bed was large and comfy and the room was large. Shower was good but you have to hold the spray as there is no fix on the wall. There is little outside the walls of the hotel to do. When we arrived it was raining and planned to rain for a few days, so we took a taxi to the Marriott hotel on the beach for a lovely meal at their fish restaurant. There was more to do up there, but the town has limited attractions for the rain, so we cut short our stay by 3 days. Khalid the owner was lovely
