This house is charming and perfect for me visiting family in town. I needed to bring my dogs and the layout of the house with fenced in backyard made this trip easier and more enjoyable. Communication was easy and friendly. I felt comfortable and welcome.

Old house and smaller than I was expecting, but old houses are so interesting to me. And it was clean and made use of the space. Be forewarned its not great for older adults with the steep stairs to the bedroom and the clawfoot tub that might be difficult to step into.I didn't have to bring my own coffee or filters which was nice. Thoughtful touches like sandals to wear inside since the floor heating grates get SUPER hot! Large comfortable couch to watch tv. Overall was a great stay.

The host was responsive, we had no trouble, and I do recommend this rental. It served it's job but it is a very old house. With that age, comes things you don't think of and are not as obvious in photos; not being able to open windows, very uneven floors, VERY steep stairs with a VERY low bulkhead that I smashed my head on thrice. The house didn't smell of animal except the laundry room which reeked of cat. The pots and pans were really worn. If a host is going to have nonstick pans, you need to keep an eye on the coating as it's really not safe at that level of deterioration. There was some hair or fur in some of the drawers in the rooms so we just stayed in our bags.
