Nice comfortable room, nice and warm and welcoming to go into on a cold afternoon.

The hotel was lovely, clean and had friendly staff that went out of their way to help as there was a situation with my Expedia booking which basically said that the room wasn’t booked on Saturday but they went out of their way to help and make sure we had a room for the night.

The staff were friendly and helpful, they could not have been more welcoming. My room was clean and bed very comfortable. The hotel is perfectly located in a very historic town. Will definitely be back.

It's an old building and the decor is showing wear and tear. However it's clean and convenient with friendly staff who knowing I was returning late had taken the trouble to close my curtains and leave the light on in the room for me (small touches gratefully received!)
