It does what it says on the label : the flat and particularly the bedroom, was very quiet, despite being moments from the busy commercial and lively waterfront. And in that spirit, it was a great location : a lively cocktail bar opposite the entrance door, a super family run restaurant underneath the flat with home cooked food easy to get to all areas of the town, including the older part up the hill 2km away. The flat was well appointed, with kitchen utensils and a working hob, the shower was good and the water hot (note : you did need to switch on/off the immersion heater for hot water).

Apart from a few running repairs, which I have already informed the host, the weak WiFi was really the only point on the debit side. Oh, and the view from the bedroom and living room windows looks into a void; but this is a small trade off for the great location.

The apartment is nice, fully renovated, clean, tidy, and located right in the city center. It is not particularly spacious, but the location is excellent.

Unfortunately, the communication with the host was absolutely terrible. He directed us to the wrong floor during check-in and forgot to inform us that there would be no hot water. The internet connection was also very weak, and, most importantly, we had informed the host in advance that we were traveling with a small child. Despite this, an apartment directly below ours was being renovated, and a drilling machine was running continuously throughout the entire day, making it extremely difficult for our child to sleep or rest. On top of that, the air conditioning in the bedroom does not cool properly, apparently due to a lack of refrigerant
