When you drive straight up a hill to get to a home, you know the view will be exceptional and it was! We spent a lot of time on the deck enjoying the views, and the singing of the birds. We saw a few eagles flying around as well. This home was a perfect location for our first trip to Shenandoah National Park. The home is secluded but close enough to town for whatever you need.Prena, the host is exceptional as well. She has really put a lot of thought into making your stay perfect. The kitchen is stocked with pots and pans, cooking oil, seasonings, and coffee (fresh ground)! In the bathroom is a basket of thoughtfulness in case you may have forgotten something. The shower has shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The hot tub is great for relaxing those muscles after a hike.We have stayed at many cabins in the mountains and Prena has gone above and beyond! We highly recommend this home and thank Prena and family for sharing.
