Recharge your batteries in this quiet holiday home with sauna.

This spacious house offers the ideal setting for an unforgettable holiday with several families or a large group of friends. Lean back on the cosy sofa area or enjoy cheerful evenings eating together at the long dining table. There's also plenty of entertainment on offer: play a game of pool, PlayStation or Nintendo Wii. And if you are looking for peace and quiet, the soothing warmth of the sauna awaits you.

Start the day outdoors with a hearty breakfast. Enjoy the view of the greenery and the surrounding fields. Sit under the large tree with a blanket and a good book and browse through your holiday reading. And if you need some exercise, play a game of football with the children.

Explore the charming town of Silkeborg, which is surrounded by clear lakes and dense forests and is ideal for walking, cycling and canoeing. Discover the gently rolling hills of Søhøjlandet, Denmark's highest region, and enjoy the sweeping views over the water. In summer, cosy lakeside cafés and small galleries with regional art beckon. As the day draws to a close, the landscape is bathed in a tranquil light that bathes the meadows, water and forests in soft colours.
