Good hotel. I dont see a good reason to stay on the lake. Good breakfast. Boat lake trip is ok and will give you view of the homes on the lake. Pay for parking! Dinner at Cedars- good parking food, service, salad bar, lake view. Make a reservation!

The place is beautiful and much thought was put into meeting guest needs. Though the staff are young and learning, any mistakes were corrected immediately and effectively.

We could have used some instructions about the shower faucet controls and how to use it as well as a note stating that the microwave is not located in the hotel room but rather downstairs where breakfast is served. Regarding the shower, I tried to figure it out late at night and one of the shower heads was working and the other one not, so trying the controls out, I got sprayed in the head with water. So then I had to take a full shower including rewashing my hair instead of going to bed right away. It also took me a bit to notice the fact that there was a second layer to the shower curtain same fabric, same appearance that is to go inside the shower while the other one stays out and not seeing this right away caused water to drip down it all over the floor but I didn't know it until I got out. There was also a used coffee filter in our coffee maker but other than that the room was immaculate. I really like the choices of pillows and mattresses, the bedding, the technology in the room including a second living area with hidea bed and second TV and the electric window blinds, including blackout shades. The room also included a safe in the closet toward the beds and master switches to turn off the electricity when people leave the room or when it is vacant and even a switch to activate or deactivate a doorbell for our room! Will definitely be back again and will highly recommend to anyone who asks where to stay there. I think the only thing that could have made it better at that point beyond the instructions and the coffee filter changed would have been a portable bidet and a chocolate in the room. Also, the shampoos have been considered and are free of parabens and other chemicals which is incredibly important to our family. I actually use the products that were mounted on the wall because they seem to be good quality. This is something off and overlooked and I think that's what made my rating higher.

Good location right off the highway. The room was clean, comfortable and much more than expected.

A neighbor slammed their door at 532am and that woke us up. They need soft close doors for hotels. Being right next to the highway, the hotel needed to be built with something to cut down on the road noise. I have stayed at hotels right next to highways that didn't have near the road noise of this hotel.
