Breakfast was expensive, but great.

Nice location next to River Thames and the Thames path. Good facilities in the room and health club. View over the river was nice although we did pay for a room upgrade for the river view and a coffee machine.
Found communication with a number of staff frustrating not entirely sure if it was a language or attitude problem.
The quality of the food served at breakfast was disappointing, not a patch on the quality served at other hotels chains. Wouldn't pay for another breakfast at a village hotel if I do stay again.

Comfy beds, clean
Impersonal, virtually no interaction on check in and checkout. The room only set up for one person rather than two on booking (one glass, towel etc). Breakfast was ok but didn’t go out of their way to meet vegetarian/vegan needs. Just want good value for money.
