We had a wonderful stay in Munich. The apartment is in an excellent location - close to the train, supermarket, English Garden, pubs and restaurants! Our family of 5 were comfortable and felt very safe. The apartment was cleaned well prior to our arrival and everything looked as the photos, just with some wear which is understandable. The nights are really quiet, too- we stayed over an Oktoberfest weekend and were concerned it would be loud but we didn’t hear any noises. The host, Maxi, is really helpful and very fast to respond back with any questions. Thanks for a great stay!

The property is in a superb neighbourhood, only 5 minutes walk from the English garden, lots of restaurants, cafés supermarkets and underground station. It is a spacious apartment with very comfortable beds. The kitchen is well equipped and there is tons of storage room.

Getting the keys was a little tricky as we could not located the lock box. The photos Maxi sent were tiny and the explanations not clear at all. We were lucky an extremely nice couple who live in the block arrived and saw us struggling. They help us locate the box. We trued to call Maxi but there was no answer. The place is a little dusty (bathroom tiles, skirting boards,doors) and the splash back and drawers in the kitchen a little sticky, indicating a lack of thorough cleaning. The couch has many stains. It would have been great have extra Pillows.

Parkplatz, Das Lokal unten ist am Wochenende sehr laut (Laute Musik).

Die Wohnung lag in der Ursulastraße 9 in Schwabing, im ersten Stock, mit 80 qm ausreichend Platz für unsere Gruppe. Die Gegend ist ruhig und dennoch gut angebunden, ideal für einen München-Aufenthalt. Die Wohnung war angenehm warm, es gab ausreichend Betten für alle, und die Küche war erfreulich großzügig geschnitten, sodass gemeinsames Kochen gut möglich war.

Bei der Ankunft hatten wir zunächst Schwierigkeiten, den Schlüssel anhand der uns geschickten Fotos zu finden, und der Vermieter war gegen 19:45 Uhr telefonisch nicht erreichbar. Deutlich getrübt wurde der Aufenthalt zudem durch mangelnde Sauberkeit: In der Küche gab es fettige Flecken an den Schrankfronten sowie Krümel und Verschmutzungen in mehreren Schubladen, der Backofen war innen stark verkrustet, und im Kühlschrank stand noch Essen des Vormieters. Das Sofa hatte mehrere deutliche Flecken auf dem Bezug. Im Schlafzimmer fielen an der Decke über der Gardinenstange auffällige dunkle Punkte auf, die nach Insekten aussahen. Im Bad war die Toilette mit Kalk- und Schmutzrändern verschmutzt, die Lampenschirme staubig, und es standen noch Pflegeprodukte der Vorgänger herum. Auch der Wasserkocher war stark verkalkt. Insgesamt hatten wir den Eindruck, dass vor unserem Check-in keine gründliche Endreinigung stattgefunden hat, was bei einem Preis von 200€ pro Nacht nicht unseren Erwartungen entsprach. PS: die Wohnung wurde auf booking für 398€ für 2 Nächte angeboten und auf Airbnb für 530€. Diese preisliche Diskrepanz ist ebenfalls nicht in Ordnung. Es ist keine gehobene Ausstattung, es fehlt Spülmaschinensalz, es sind ringsherum Restaurants, die bis in die Nacht lautstark frequentiert würden. Die Wohnung war sicherlich vor 10 Jahren top in Schuss. Inzwischen scheint sie nur eine Cash Cow zu sein.
