Garden was nice. However we did find glass on the floor which would be dangerous at night walking from hot tub so we had to be careful with sliders. Master bedroom, very comfy. Although draws falling off. Next bedroom, tv wire bad design doesn’t extend to plug. No wardrobe either as pictured. Weirdly no door to the bathroom attached to second room.

The cottage could be a gold mine for the right person but it’s got so many maintenance issues, from the hot tub having dangerous loose parts in it, to slats falling from it, to glass on the floor, it’s not clean. I mean no offence but feels a males property and it’s missing the females attention to detail. Would stay again in Skegness but not in this cottage sorry.

Location to the beach

It was very dirty throughout. Musky smell on everything. Kitchen had other people’s left over food in the freezer and cupboards. There was one dirty cloth to use left on the drainer sat in mould. My son sat on a seat and got covered in bits of dirt which was very upsetting for him. There is no privacy in the garden. We noticed a camera facing the area. We had other people staying in the other half of the house just looking out at us through the windows when we would be in the garden sunbathing etc. Every time they used the toilets, you would hear it drain into our garden area and the smell would go into the kitchen that was right next to it. The hot tub lid was broken by tenants before us and we were informed a few hours beforehand that it wouldn’t affect the use of it. Unfortunately it got filled with water and anyone that wasn’t a gym buff would struggle to move it. The tub was dirty around the brim and lots of sand/dirt sat at the bottom. The electric shower power is intermittent and on our last night we couldn’t get it to work. Informed the owner and heard nothing back.
