If you have a car, don't mind being a mile out of town and enjoy peace and quiet, then this place is quite wonderful. Fiona has done an amazing job equipping the Hideaway perfectly with incredible attention to detail. She is living close by and turned up in person to give us the warmest of Irish welcomes and made sure we felt at home. Perhaps the word Hideaway suggests a small amount of space but that is definitely not the case here. The elevated views from the big windows in the Lounge/Dining room looking out over Belfast Loch are quite stunning at all times of the day. The bedrooms are so comfortable and we slept so well. And little kindnesses like providing some basic groceries including a pint of milk in the fridge were so appreciated after a delayed flight from London. Would we come back here again? In a heartbeat!

We loved it all!

Tutto positivo

location was stunning. Fabulous view over Belfast City and Lough. Car is a necessity. Only 5 Minutes to Culloden Hotel and 10 minutes to Ikea and Decathlon.

There is a Step up to the corridor leading to the Bathroom which could be a problem for someone with mobility issues.

Home from home very clean and comfortable. Fiona our host was so friendly kind and very helpful. The views from the hideaway were great. I would recommend it to anyone for a lovely quiet break. Plenty nearby to see and do. The County Down coast only a few miles away.❤️
