The host was unresponsive the whole time, even at check in time. When we arrived at the vrbo, there was no electricity in the whole apartment. We were forced to cancel the vrbo reservation the DAY OF our reservation, as there was no electricity and the host was not responding. AVOID THIS HOST!

We had notes slipped under the door on a few nights with one alerting us to the presence of PD, FBI in the lobby and with a message of Be Safe. We did not feel safe that way at all and the host basically shrugged when brought up to him/them. We left a day early, maybe 26 hours before check out because my family did not feel secure. We asked for a credit but were ignored w/o a response.Beyond that, which should be enough, the beds were not comfortable and even forced one of my daughters to sleep on the couch in an attempt to get a decent night’s sleep. Check in was difficult in terms of identifying the right unit and the right address. Not a fun time and not worth the money charged.

Stay at your on risk! Not secure. Lock on door works sometimes. After 40 mins i finally got it to lock. Extreme drafts and no way to block. Kill switches for rooms not in rooms. Two tvs would not turn on. BUT what is worse was communication with host. Before arriving at location I requested an extension. Host agreed and charged me more money and completely ignored the discount i got for last minute booking and charged fees vrbo had discounted. On my last day i returned after going to a funeral and someone else was in the apartment and my stuff was gone! Vrbo sided with the host of course. AND THEY REQUESTED MORE MONEY! So at 10pm in NYC im driving around looking for a place to stay. No direct communication with host only text type situation which he takes anywhere from 3 to 5 hours to respond to. They never reached out during this situation just sent a link via email that asked my where was their key.

Such a great stay a ! The location was perfect super close to the trains, LIRR, and corner stores, which made everything really convenient. I’m from NY, so revisiting this apartment honestly felt like being back home again. We were also in town for a show at the Barclays Center, and it couldn’t have been more ideal. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you for have my friends & I.
