Enjoy a romantic break at The Hayloft, which is within easy reach of plenty of opportunities for walking and cycling.. All on the First Floor:

Living area: 55" Freeview TV, Ipod Dock, CD Player
Dining area.
Kitchen area: Electric Oven, Electric Hob, Microwave, Fridge/Freezer, Dishwasher, Washing Machine
Bedroom: Super Kingsize (6ft) Bed, Roll Top Bath (In Room) Ensuite: Toilet
Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Heated Towel Rail, No Toilet
Separate Toilet.. Underfloor heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. . Patio with garden furniture and barbecue (shared with ref CC119146). Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. Please note: There is a walled river adjacent to the garden, which is across the lane.. The Hayloft is set in the delightful Lakeland hamlet of Branthwaite and once discovered, you will want to return time after time. The quiet country lanes, rarely disturbed by a passing car, are surrounded with lush green fields, quieter fell walks and some of the prettiest villages you will ever visit.
The apartment has been refurbished to a very high standard, and the open plan living space is filled with natural light and has plenty of room for you both. A cosy sofa in the living area is ideal to snuggle up on and watch a romantic film together, whilst the kitchen has everything you need to make that special meal. A sumptuous kingsize bed awaits you in the bedroom, with the feature roll-top bath just across the room so a long relaxing soak in bubbles is never far away. A shared patio with garden furniture is across the lane, with a walled river adjacent, and is a delightful place to sit and listen to the bird song and gentle babbling waters running by.
The apartment benefits from a superb fellside location in ’John Peel country’, situated on the tranquil Caldbeck Fells with walks directly from the door and quiet country lanes ideal for cycling. The renowned village of Caldbeck is within 3 miles with pub, tea room and shops. Shop, pub and restaurant 3 miles.
The Hayloft can be booked together with Branthwaite Stable (CC119146) and The Long Barn (UK1005) to accommodate up to 10 guests.

Absolutely incredible stay at The Hayloft! Such a beautifully crafted place. Renovated to such a high standard! Underfloor heating is a treat too. The property was exceptionally clean, you couldn’t even tell if someone had stayed there or not! Was truly amazing. The location is excellent. Very remote with no phone signal for miles. Can’t wait to return!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hayloft, it was super clean and had plenty of walks that didn’t require the car. We walked to Caldbeck and Hesket Newmarket and sampled both pubs there. Next time we return we’d love to go up some the fells nearby. We couldn’t this time due to snow. Easy drive into Keswick and Pooley Bridge too.
