Our stay at Whisper Point Eco Lodge was definitely one of the highlights of our Sri Lankan tour. We were in Nuwara Eliya and had booked 1 night at Whisper Point Eco Lodge. It was freezing cold and raining in Nuwara Eliya when Lasantha offered to drive us to his Resort in his car while his brother drove our tuk tuk. He not only drove us but managed to get us on the blue train, to see the 9 Arch Bridge and lunch at Ella. The Whisper Point Eco Lodge itself is breathtaking. The 3 sustainably built villas are first class and the view of the Diyaluma Waterfall is spectacular. Lasantha is an executive chef so as you can imagine, the food is outstanding and most of the fresh produce is grown on the property! There is a beautiful freshwater swimming hole at the bottom of the property, fed by the waterfall - the relaxing place 🩷 Comfortable bed, hot water with great pressure, spectacular surroundings...in fact it was so good we booked a second night on our return from Arungam Bay Beach. Lasantha and his brother have created a piece of paradise that you really need to experience.

This was one of the best and most memorable one night stay in Srilanka during our 14 day family holidays. Lasantha personally looked after us and made sure we are fully looked after both in terms of food and other necessities. The cottages are unique retreat style and the location is absolutely awesome. Our morning hike and bath at the top of Diyaluma falls was mind blowing and then coming back to get a hearty wonderful breakfast made our stay a perfect holiday. Later on again getting a Bath in the natural pool of the Diyaluma falls within the property area made it so unique and memorable. Wish Lasantha the very best and would highly recommend anyone to stay atleast for one night to experience the unique satisfaction within nature.
