Een prachtig huis, fantastisch en smaakvol ingericht met oog voor detail. Heel lekker ontbijt met verse producten, huisgemaakte confituur en cake. En bovendien een heel vriendelijke gastvrouw en gastheer.

Niets, alles was perfect.

Een prachtige nieuwe accommodatie in een volledig gerenoveerde villa. Ze hebben het heel mooi ingericht met klassiek meubilair, heerlijk bed en stoffering en badkamer volledig nieuw. Auto kon op terrein geparkeerd worden. Ideale stopplek bij een doorreis naar Spanje of naar huis. In stadje gegeten, half uurtje lopen langs de rivier, maar na reisdag wel lekker om dat te doen. Prima ontbijt, alles top. Eigenaren zijn heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam, eigenaresse spreekt goed engels, ook altijd fijn!

House of Mailly! What an absolute gem! During a motorcycle trip to the Spanish Pyrenees, I was looking for a good alternative to soulless budget hotels and stumbled upon this B&B. What a stroke of luck! Vicky and Jean-Luc are incredibly hospitable and go out of their way to help you. Since dinner isn't served on-site, I went out to eat first. After sending a quick text on my way back, Vicky was already waiting for me at the gate. My motorcycle could be parked safely out of sight in the enclosed courtyard (you can even park it inside!). Stepping inside was truly breathtaking; the house has been restored to perfection. You’ll marvel at the classic details, such as the beautiful hallway, robust antique furniture, and elegant wooden staircase. The bedroom is also stunning and full of character, featuring a chandelier hanging from the flawlessly plastered ceiling and a large antique wardrobe. The bathroom is a perfect blend of modern comfort and classic elegance, beautifully finished with brass fixtures, a rainfall shower, and a magnificent gold mirror. Everything is impeccably maintained. They were also happy to accommodate my schedule; they provide a delicious breakfast at 8:00 AM, allowing me to be back on my bike promptly at 9:00 AM. If you’re looking for a place to stay in this region, I recommend House of Mailly 110%. I rarely give 5-star ratings on Google Maps, but this place deserves more than five!

Het ontbijt was zeer verzorgd, aan tafel opgediend door de supervriendelijke gastvrouw. Vers fruitsap, koffie à volonté, croissants, chocoladebroodjes, baguettes en eibereiding naar keuze, kazen, verse fruitsla... Er werd ons ook gevraagd op welk tijdstip we wensten te ontbijten.

Ik zou niets kunnen bedenken. De accomodatie komt "uit een boekje" en de gastheer en gastvrouw staan altijd ter beschikking. Superlieve mensen die echt verdienen dat je bij hen verblijft.
