Tradiup Hotel by the Designers

We very much enjoyed our stay at Tradiup. It was exciting to arrive as its setting is very fun and modern, with its own K-food shop, ice cream parlour (great ice cream, by the way!) and karaoke room. The staff welcoming us was very friendly and check-in was super smooth. The bedroom was quite small, but that's quite typical for big Asian cities, and it worked fine for us despite spending nearly a week there. More importantly, it was comfortable, clean and cosy. A great advantage for Tradiup is its fantastic location. It's easy to access from both airports, well-located for travel to key sights across Seoul (e.g. the main palaces, Myeongdong, Ansan mountain...) and its own neighbourhood Jongno is bustling and exciting. Right around the corner is Ikseon Hanok Village which is packed with great cafes, bars and restaurants - we spent so much time there because there were endless options to explore!

Breakfast was included but it was pretty basic/limited so we didn't really end up taking advantage of it. However, there are lots of amazing bakeries in the nearby hanok village e.g. Line Bakery which opens earlier than most and has a great decor / delicious pastries!

- Close to station exit - Clean room and bath - Huge tv - No sewage smell

- Bathroom is too small - No shower curtain - No lighting or switch near bed - The room door and walls must be so thin as I could hear people next door or in the hallway very clearly. - Weird elevator stops at the middle of two floors so you need to use stairs up and down - Fridge was really loud - No storage/closet
