Cleanliness

one staff in reception not hospitable

Afaq Taiba is a very good budget-friendly hotel near Masjid an-Nabawi. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and offers very good value for money. The location is around 2 km from Masjid an-Nabawi, and you can easily reach the mosque by the hotel shuttle or by taxi. Although it may look close enough to walk, especially on the map, walking for around 20–25 minutes is not practical in the hot weather, particularly for families, children, or elderly people. Overall, if you are looking for a clean, affordable hotel with reasonable access to Masjid an-Nabawi, I would definitely recommend Afaq Taiba. 👍

The reception staff were not very professional, and the check-in process was quite slow. Their English was also quite basic, which sometimes made communication difficult. The housekeeping service was the biggest weakness. Even after staying for three or four days, housekeeping did not come unless we repeatedly called and requested it. Water and other basic supplies were not regularly refilled, so you had to keep asking again and again. Parking they never tell you they had in basement, so open parking in streets in hot weather leave you uncomfortable
