Friendly owner and staff. The traditional pub food is very well executed and excellent value. Quiet comfortable room at the back.
The bathroom was in need of an upgrade.

Too near the road, traffic noise would be the only thing that will stop me staying again.

A comfortable country pub hotel. Pleasant room and fair size shower with plenty of hot water. Our host was friendly and attentive. Breakfast was excellent and well cooked. Large parking area at the rear and easy to find. Reasonably priced for the area. Overall experience was good and I would stay there again.
The mattress was a bit lumpy but I did sleep well. When exiting by car and turning right into the main road the vegetation blocks the view of the road which was fairly busy with morning traffic. Easily remedied I am sure. Everything else was great.

Very old pub, tastefully presented. Bar well stocked & comfortable. Room good size, clean & comfortable, Tv very small & sound poor quality!
Hosts were very friendly & welcoming.
Poor quality food, at dinner, very bland & tasteless. Poor menus choices.
