The hotel was really nice, and I loved the decorations. The interiors are well designed, aesthetically pleasing, and functional. The location is definitely one of the biggest advantages. It is close to one of Porto’s main metro connections, making it very convenient for exploring different parts of the city. You can easily reach virtually everywhere from there. The sleeping area was comfortable enough for the price paid, and the mattresses were decent. Although there is no air conditioning, the temperature in September was comfortable and I didn’t really feel the need for it. The fridge and dishes were clean, and overall the apartment gave me a positive impression. It is not a luxury or exclusive property, but it is a good option for a low-budget stay without too many expectations.

I didn’t find a microwave, which would have been useful. I also found the cooking area somewhat questionable, as it is directly on the wooden floor without a mat or any kind of protection. The strong water pressure from the tap often resulted in water getting onto the floor, which made this even more inconvenient. The biggest issue was definitely the noise at night. The apartment is located near a very busy intersection, and the traffic is quite noticeable. This is not only an issue because of the noise, but also because it makes it difficult to keep the windows open and properly air out the apartment. Fresh air is therefore a bit of a problem. The cleanliness was average. As is often the case, there was some dirt in less accessible areas, such as under the bed and behind the washing machine. Nothing particularly serious, but it is worth mentioning. It was also not possible to leave our luggage for a couple of hours after check-out, although they did provide information about nearby paid luggage storage services. If improvements were to be made, I would particularly suggest better soundproofing, some kind of mat or floor protection in the kitchen area, and an air purifier. An air-conditioning system with air purification would also be a useful addition.

Comodidad y limpieza

Het was erg schoon en ruim + heel gezellig ingericht. De waterdruk is geweldig. In de keuken was alles aanwezig mocht je willen koken(zelfs olie en kruiden) Overal is aan gedacht, genoeg toiletpapier, handdoeken, zeep, afwasmiddel. Wasmachine is ook erg fijn. Contact met de host erg goed, heel behulpzaam en reageren snel en vriendelijk. De locatie is ook goed, vlak buiten het drukke centrum en heel veel leuke straatjes, terrassen en restaurants binnen 5-15min lopen!

Voor ons was het niet storend maar mocht je niet tegen buiten geluiden kunnen dan is het misschien wat minder rustig ivm de weg (auto geluiden en het piepje van het stoplicht de hele dag). De houder waar de douchekop in hangt is ‘slap’, blijft wel hangen als je het op de juiste manier ophangt, valt anders naar beneden, moet je even proberen en dan is er niks aan de hand :) .
