Modern inside and lovely outside space in a rural area close to the village. Great for dogs

Beautifully restored barn conversion finished to a high spec. We both loved the house couldn’t find any fault. We had our dog with us (as usual) so the outside space is important to us. The garden is completely secure for the dog to be let out and it’s as big as the photos show it, perfect for the pooch! We have stayed in many similar properties but so far this has to be the best. Good walks on the doorstep (canal towpath can be very muddy in wet weather but there is a higher path that we found that was fine) both towpath and path lead to a pub! We will be back.

Loved this place as soon as I stepped through the front door. It was showroom spotless, completely from top to bottom! Quite isolated too – you could hear a pin drop in the evenings - yet not too far from a few pubs and local shops. Quite ideal really for a relaxing break with canal and forest walks located around 50 metres from the front door. The land surrounding the property is quite big too. Completely fenced off, so safe for small kids or dogs to be left to play and roam. Excellent log fire in the lounge. The ground floor is semi open plan. Two bedrooms upstairs with the original oak beams still showing. A lovely well designed coverted property which I'd happily recommend to anyone. PS: the farm just down the country lane sells fresh eggs and unbelievable honey.
