Central location between the old and new city with quick access to the city walls and parks. Staff resolved issues with rooms such as getting the air conditioning working and fixing a kettle that stopped working. Staff arranged for a transfer back to the airport, tea / coffee available in the hallway at all times. Rooms have fridges, wifi adequate, able to find at least one channel showing the world cup on the TV or watch it on a laptop, some rooms have balcony views into a public square.
Booked room wasn't available on arrival, was asked if I'd rather go elsewhere (not arranged so would have had to connect to wifi and self-organise). Ended up in a room with a balcony for a night (boiling as couldn't get the air-conditioning to work and ended up fly food), moved to different room with no windows the following day, but staff were able to get the air-conditioning working. Breakfast is in the corridor so seems like it's outside your door. Traffic into central Baku can be awful - taxi driver tried to take his own large tip.

Location providing easy access to restaurants coffee shops and old town. Basic facilities but adequate and for the money excellent value
On 3rd floor not serviced by lifts. Not a problem for us. Breakfast included was basic but plenty of establishments nearby. Bathroom could do with a makeover but 86Euro for 2 nights for 2 of us a week before the Grand Prix. Good Value
