hatago STAY Shinmachi

Merci pour l’accueil, surtout de nous avoir attendu alors qu’il était tard et de vous être renseignés et organisés pour notre transport de valise. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié et l’endroit est très bien entretenu et a beaucoup de commodités.

For a short stay it is perfect! We had a single room for two, but it was still cozy. However I missed sorely some kind of shelf to put my clothes on. Would have been great not to do a deep dive in my backpack everytime I needed something. In the lobby there were amenities, tea and coffee with a shared space for eating which was super. However there was quite cold. I got up early to plan our hike for the day and actually I cought a cold while sitting there. Train, bus station, a huge supermarket, several restaurants and izakayas are nearby. PS. Please clean the AC!

This place is great. We had a twin room which was reasonably spacious. Great location (within easy walking distance train/bus station, 7 Eleven, restaurants and the old part of town), clean, good air con, shared fridge, cold and hot water available. Nice little area downstairs where you could sit and eat. The staff were lovely. Easy check in process at the bar on the corner. I messaged previous day and asked if we could store our luggage until check in time and they kindly gave us the door pin.

We had large suitcases and there were a few stairs up to the bedroom but we managed.
