Heart Of The Cosmos

We absolutely loved our stay at Heart of the Cosmos. The accommodation was beautiful, peaceful, and provided the perfect atmosphere for a romantic getaway. We especially appreciated the thoughtful romantic setup, including the flowers, decorations, and attention to detail. The property offered a relaxing escape from our busy lives, and we truly enjoyed spending quality time together.

Overall, we had a wonderful experience and have no major complaints. We would have appreciated perhaps more entertainment or activities available on the property, but this did not take away from our enjoyable stay.

I especially appreciate the Host for going above and beyond to organise an anniversary gift on such short notice after my late booking. The view of the Dam and tranquility + Jacuzzi

Je kan binnen de compound wandelen naar het café aan het water. We kwamen in het donker aan en de caretaker liep even met ons mee om de weg te wijzen. Prima plek om enkele dagen bij te komen en als uitvalsbasis voor bezoek aan Pretoria en Cradle of Humankind. Een ruim appartement. Interessante oven met geïntegreerde kookplaten erop. Dat kenden we nog niet.

De accommodatie is lastig te vinden op de kaart. Er zijn op Google maps verschillende die 'Kosmos' in de naam hebben, maar deze staat er niet bij. Wij verbleven in de familiekamer, 'Top Deck'. Dit heeft een kleine patio, met maar 1 stoel. Er zijn geen twee, maar slechts 1 klein zwembad, met 1 ligstoel. Dit ligt in de tuin van de eigenaar en er lopen hier 3 hondjes rond. Er is een jacuzzi op afspraak voor 45 minuten en tegen betaling. Het ontbijt is een 'breakfast-to-go', dat stipt om 8:00 bezorgd wordt. Bestaande uit muffins, yoghurt en fruit. Dat is voor 4 dagen achter elkaar wat eentonig. Deze locatie ligt overigens niet direct aan een meer, zoals de foto's doen vermoeden.
