It’s clean and close to our activities

Although we checked in early, our rooms were not ready until way past check in time. Front desk associate said waiting on house keeping and the manager who was there when we checked in did nothing to expedite or help. We received access to one of our rooms and waited a few hrs past check in for our second room. We were exhausted and needed to rest and get ready for dinner with our child’s coaching staff and team mates. I went back down to the front desk and asked a second associate if we can just have a room that was ready? And they said yes and I presume moved our reservation into a room that was ready. I’d say it was due to lack of communication and experience of front desk associates that created this unpleasant experience.
