The location is fantastic in the Piazza San Francesco on the top floor with views and a lot of light during the day. The apartment has stairs only as it is an old building where most old buildings do not have room for an elevator. I would stay there again as it had a very warm feeling of home.
The stairs offer great exercise but you may need a stop or two if you are carrying up heavy items. The view when you get to the apartment is worth the walk.

great internet, comfortable bed, lots of space
frig and cutlery had not been cleaned, 8 flights of stairs (67 steps - undisclosed) no simple amenities had been provided eg hand soap, toilet paper
