The privacy and enclosed parking. Beautifully furnished and decorated. Very clean and modern with everything we could have wanted. The host, Simon, was very helpful from before our stay. We used the local buses to get into Angouleme centre - very easy and meant we could leave the car behind.
The only minor thing was the property wouldn't be suitable for the elderly as the stairs were quite steep - not an issue for us though.
