We were 3 besties visiting AR from OK to float the BNR. We do float annually, but this was our first time to stay in Pyatt/Yellville. We liked everything from the host, to the home, to the art, to the history, to the view, to the hot tub, to the deck on the 3rd floor, to the starlit sky, to the huge covered front porch, everything was wonderful. There aren't words to describe the view of the starlit sky from that 3rd floor balcony. It's definitely a place where one can reset your soul. Each piece of art will pique your curiosity as to the artist and the subject or idea behind it. The grounds are beautiful but it rained every day we were there so we didn't get to explore much outside of seeing the views from the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floor of the house. We also loved that the 3rd floor has a king size bed, fully furnished with sofa and loveseat, fridge, microwave, full bath with shower, and hot tub. We opted to all sleep on the 3rd floor and had plenty of room to do so. It was great. Davis Hawn is your host, he's an incredibly kind and gentle soul. We loved hearing his story and let me tell you, it is QUITE the story of a life well lived though he experienced both tragedy and triumph along the way. He was generous enough to give each of us a copy of his book and even signed it for us.

Directions could have been better. Booking.com initial directions took us to the middle of a hay field where we passed two "no tresspassing" signs. We were so confused. We contacted our host and he quickly sent us a link to photos and written directions which made it simple to find. Unfortunately, it was 30 minutes back the direction we came from which put us 45 minutes away from our Outfitter rather than just 15 minutes. This was not a problem for us, but you do need an all wheel or 4 wheel drive vehicle to get to the house due to the up hill, gravel, and winding road. Other than that, we loved everything.
