The Castello is a great place to unwind in a beautifully calm rural surrounding. The roof of the Castello features a sitting area from which one has a great 360° view on both sunset and sunrise and the surrounding volcanos. Richart and Julia are also very friendly and caring hosts and their breakfast is great. For lunch and dinner one can also directly order food at their Cafe nextdoor. The rooms in the Castello are large and clean equipped with a western style bathroom. There is no AC, but I wouldn‘t have used it anyways as it is quite cool in the area. All in all a very nice place!

Richard and Julia were great hosts. We arrived late and Julia prepared a lovely dinner. We called ahead. Breakfast was great too.
The sunrise and sunset from the roof are amazing.
