The property was amazing but things let it down. Toilet in corridor stank unusable. Blinds didn’t work in bedroom & front room.

Toilet unusable.. blinds not working..

Location was brilliant with views over the inlet and out to sea.

Only 2 bedside lamps in a 3 bedroom apartment. Most people have two lamps per bedroom. Lack of matching saucepan lids. Instructions for Rubbish collection said add your rubbish and pub bins out Wednesday evening. Which bins? There were about 9 or more. Also where to put bins out? Not all the electric blinds worked and the cloakroom emitted a horrible smell - we didn't it al all. The beds were all very low, which proved an issue for my 98-year-old father. So we moved a single mattress from another bedroom onto his bed. OK after that.

The apartment is in a superb location with lovely sea views. The village centre with great pubs and a few pretty shops is just around the corner. It was spacious and fairly clean.

Several blinds and the pop-up kitchen socket did not work. There were no tea towels, kitchen towel, clingfilm or tin foil available. No dishes suitable to use in the microwave. None of the saucepan lids fitted the saucepans. The cloakroom urinal was marked out of use, creating a terrible smell all week. A welcome pack should not consist of a packet of biscuits, a packet of crisps and cleaning products. While dogs are allowed to stay, they are not allowed on the grass, rendering the garden out of bounds for all of us. Unfortunately I think the hosts have confused unnecessary gadgetry with luxury. More a case of style over substance.

We liked the view and like that it was close to the beach and shops, heating system was excellent! Bed was comfortable. Most of the kitchen was okoy!

The welcome pack was very poor and probably better that they didn't do one, as wasn't very welcoming! Alot of flaws, bed much too low, electric blinds didn't function properly, loose towel rails, lights not working! Door knobs loose and fell off. Bath towels much too small! Not that clean, under beds lots of dust! Not enough dishwasher tablets only two for a whole week, 4 tea bags in a small glass container, instant coffee with no date on there! Coffee pods not enough for the week! The guest information book was very vague!
