We had a great time at this property. We had 15 family members and this house was plenty big for us all. The kitchen was stocked amazingly well which was a huge surprise as we cooked all of our meals at the house. The pool was lovely.
One strike against this property is the noise of the highway. It was hard to have conversations on the porch or at the pool. Also, several of the bedrooms had different bed configurations than what was shown on the website which presented problems with some sleeping arrangements. Luckily we brought some air mattresses with us.
With those things being said they didn't affect the good time that we had in Kitty Hawk.

Very roomy, stocked extremely well, however not everything worked. Outlets were removed in the living room. Bare wires were hanging out of at least 2 outlets. Outlets by the bed in the master bedroom did not work. Out phone chargers had to be plugged in across the room. Very noisy area. The highway produces a lot of noise. The description said the walk to the beach was 6 minutes. My best was 8. That was without kids or any beach gear. All in all, the house was in a nice neighborhood and we really enjoyed our stay. The place just needs some work.

We liked this house so much we've rented it two years in a row. Carolina Shores was very quick to respond to questions and such. Just wish the outdoor sound system worked. The amenities are great! View of the ocean is great and sunsets over the golf course on the sound side of the house are great!

Perfect week in OBX
This home was awesome! The only reason I gave 4 stars on location is because it is located on a one way street and gps always brings you in the wrong way. And the reason for the 4 stars on description is because I wish all the wonderful amenities had been mentioned, it would have saved us a lot of packing! If you have a baby this house is for you! Full size crib (bring a sheet), stroller, 2 high chairs, baby bathtub, potty seat, several baby gates, pack n play and even some cute toys!! Also, you don’t need to bring pool things, there were so many noodles, rafts and toys. And… beach chairs and carts!! This home was perfect for our family vacation!!

Excellent home!
We dearly loved this house! Pool, hot tub, game room and views were great! Several not so good things that didn't really affect our stay....dishwashers are not good, pool radio doesn't work, and just having direct TV in the bedrooms was the pits. If you don't like stairs don't rent this one! Golf course view was nice, but this home is located a stones throw away from a 4 lane highway so there was ALWAYS traffic noise. But we got used to it. Sunrises were amazing! Drive to beach was about 2 minutes. Could've walked but didn't wanna cross 4 lanes of traffic. Dealing with Carolina Shores was great! We will most likely visit this house again! Had something for everyone.

Lots of room for us to spend time together but also spread out if we wanted lol they had great beach chairs and plenty of beach toys that my kids enjoyed! There is only satellite TV in the living room and top floor master bedroom. The rest of the rooms have chromecast. The description they have on the site made us think all the rooms had satellite.
The only real complaint we had was that the beds were not the most comfortable and they need to do more detailed cleaning but we would still stay here again.

Awesome Vacation
It was perfect for my both my daughters and their friends. We had plenty of room so we weren’t on top off each other. The walk to the beach wasn’t bad and if we didn’t feel like making the walk we could just hang out at the pool and hot tub. We would definitely stay again!

Wonderful week in Kitty Hawk!
We spent a week here in August 2021 and definitely enjoyed our stay! We had 8 adults and 2 children and had more than enough space for everyone. The location was great - 4 min drive to the beach and close to grocery stores, restaurants, shopping, etc. The pool was a great size and we enjoyed it all week! The dual stoves/ovens in the kitchen came in handy a ton!
There were a number of spiders on the tall ceilings of the top floor that freaked out the kids and a lot of flying bugs by the end of the week at the bottom floor entryway. We were careful to keep doors closed as much as possible, so not sure how they were getting in.
Overall had a great week and would consider another stay here in the future!

This house was a great size to accommodate a large family vacation that included 10 adults, 3 kids and not to forget the dogs! Easy walk to the beach and loved having the pool/hot tub back at the house when we were beached out. Highly recommend this property!

This house was pretty good for our vacation. There was plenty of space for everyone. Unfortunately, it rained and stormed every day we were here. We made good use of the games in the house. We had a Family Olympics with pool, air hockey, and ping pong!! The only complaints I really have are: road noise really is an issue, some speakers for sound system didn't work, the patio furniture was not usable which was disappointing, and the pool table has seen better days. All in all we had a good time.

Excellent price for the duration and location
The house was very nice. We stayed for a week. and it had all the amenities given that we were mostly staying indoors due to the COVID-19 pandemic. There was enough rooms, linens and the kitchen was fully stocked. Also liked that there was an additional kitchenette in the first floor. For the price, it was really good value. And the property management people were very courteous, responsive and helpful.

Large and very entertaining! Loved it!
This house is amazing! Our family was never at a loss for something to entertain them, the game rooms and pool were fantastic!
Bedrooms were quiet and private, great for vacation sleeping. Kitchen is huge and very well equipped for any size family.
The only drawback is the location near the Bypass but the road noise could be masked with the pool sound system if down at the pool area. Sitting on the upper deck is not really pleasant bc of the noise but you can see the ocean in the distance!
Parking was plentiful but with the golf course neighboring the front side of the house, there is also a chance of your car (or you) being hit by an errant golf ball. There were a couple of close calls.
Overall, we LOVED our vacation and despite the location, this house was fantastic in almost every way!
I recommend this house for families with kids of all ages but particularly for teens. There was always something for them to do, it especially kept them off of their screens ALL week!! WIN WIN

Everything was terrific
The heated pool made the stay. We had mediocre weather but the heated pool kept us outside and having fun. The house was perfect in every other way.
The road is a little loud on the outside but really did not bother us.

Not a great location
The main road was next to property and was very noisey so didnt use the hot tub or pool as much as we hoped. Also needed maintenance to take care of bugs and mildew smell.

The house was beautiful, with ample space for everything we wanted to do. We loved the AirHockey, ping-pong table, pool table and all the beach chairs. The kids love the basketball and the pool. The grill worked very well. Your kitchen was remarkable! So much room to work, and all the utensils we’d ever need. We enjoyed playing golf and it was so inexpensive. My one complaint is that there were no towels in the house. We expected bath towels hand towels and washcloths because there was nothing in the listing that indicated those were not included. We had our beach towels so it worked out OK, but I’ve never rented a house with no towels before. Also, we were surprised that the beds are unmade when we got there. The bed linens were on top of each bed but they weren’t made yet. Our overall rating of the house was excellent. Probably the nicest we’ve stayed in in the Outer Banks.

Family vacation
We picked this house because we had 14 of us coming on this trip. This house was absolutely perfect in every way for a large group to stay in. Checking in was a breeze and Jessica was very friendly, she even called a few hours before check in just to see how our trip was coming along. The house was very clean upon arrival. The kitchen set up makes it very easy to cook meals and clean up afterwards. Having 2 ovens and dish washers makes it so easy to have family meals, which were a highlight for us. The game areas were well utilized in to the late hours by kids and adults. The sound system that plays in the pool area and game area was well utilized as well. The pool area was perfect for our kids. Someone came and did a quick cleaning of it mid week which was nice. The outdoor shower is a nice touch as well. All gates leading in to the pool area have child locks. The house is stocked with anything you need to take trip to the beach. Beach access is a short drive. We found parking within 5 minutes of the house every time. From there you cross a 2 lane road that has pedestrian walk ways at every intersection and you are there.
Everyone loved the views on the decks, many of us spent the mornings or part of the evening on one. A little bummed the view of the green on the 10th hole is partially blocked but it was fun watching the golfers in the morning. If anyone enjoys hunting for golf balls, take a walk at dusk or in the morning, you will find plenty. Found a few on our property. The house next to ours had their vehicles hit one morning, so if that is a concern for you, insider yourself warned. Johnston lane is a one way road, so turning left on to the main road can be tricky at times, but traffic overall isn’t too bad. One request would be recycling bins, we threw away so much trash. We will definitely look at staying here again when we come back to the OBX!!

We had family come from all over the country to meet us at the SURF PAR-TEE property. It was our family's first time staying in the Outer Banks and we were not disappointed. Upon our arrival, the property smelled fresh and clean. You can tell the cleaning folks take great pride in their work to make this property stand out – impressive considering its size. The views of the ocean from the third floor are amazing! The pictures online don't do this property justice. This house had something for everyone to do if you decided to stay at home for a day or evening. Between the game room, pool and hot tub, our family had a tremendous time hanging out, playing games and hosting some epic pool parties. We even had a family pool tournament as well as some intense games of air hockey in the game room throughout the week. We had a couple issues throughout the week but we alerted the rental company immediately and they were able to help us get them resolved. The lights outside/around the pool kept shutting off after what seemed to be excess water splashing up on the patio. After going into the pool house, we were able to ensure the breaker didn’t trip so the pool lights would stay on for our late night pool volleyball tournaments. The other issue was that the washing machine decided to only wash laundry on the “light white” cycle during our stay. Maintenance came out and determined the nob on the washing machine needed replaced. The biggest drawback with this property is all the stairs. By the middle of the week, it was a bit hard on some folks but, fortunately, everybody made it through the week. Installing an elevator would be great but certainly not necessary. Between accommodating our large family, perfect beach weather the entire week and spending time with family we may only see once or twice a year, I think it's safe to say no one was disappointed with their first trip to the Outer Banks. I was truly impressed with this house. As a previous renter stated, you really never know what you’re going to get just by looking at pictures online. But the pictures of this home don’t do it justice. Very well appointed, impeccable, clean. Well decorated, absolutely perfect. This was my first time in OBX so I don’t have anything to compare it to, however my entire group was very happy with the home and it’s location. Easy 8 minute walk to the beach. We’re not golfers, but location great for those who are. I had a bunch of young adults in the house, and they loved the amenities. I couldn’t have picked a more perfect house.

Upon entering the home, the smell of clean was notable. I was very happy with the cleanliness of the home. This house is NOT ideal for walking to the beach, and the closest beach access does not have public parking, so even renting a golf cart, you cannot drive it and park it at the beach anywhere near this house. Get ready to walk. With three flights of steps in the home, and a Kitchen on the top floor, laundry on the bottom, also be prepared to climb steps...a lot. Entry into the home is inconvenient with luggage as well. You are directly across from a golf course on a one way (this was not specified and meant going out on to the main highway and making a left across the busy four lane to get back to the closest beach access if you drove to drop off your things). Also, your vehicle is unprotected from golf balls, which DO sail across and hit both the property and your vehicles parked in front. I was not happy with that, as my car is a treasured possession. The house is beautifully furnished and decor is great. Mattresses are less than desirable and there are too many bunks in my opinion unless you are taking a large amount of children, they don't sleep adults comfortably. At a price point of $5300 for the rental, I expected better mattresses and a more convenient location. Everything we needed for the kitchen was present, and made cooking easy. There were also chairs and beach carts available for use, which was convenient. Overall, the property itself was amazing, but the location was not. This house would have been perfect if on the beachfront, or a block back, better for golfers. I was unfamiliar with renting a home, as a traveler I usually stay in resorts. So when opting to fill out the app, I called and had the realty office ONLINE and asking questions. I was under the impression that towels were an included linen, and for the price point, they should have been. It was pay $162 extra to rent, or buy my own, which
