The flat is nice and spacious (a bit larger than most flats or houses in Britain). It has a nice outside small private patio, with a table and 2 chairs. The flat was clean, and reasonably well equipped. Other than that, Alida - the lady host, was very nice and she provided me milk upon request, for my morning coffee.

A few minor critical points: despite the location in a residential area, there were noisy motorbikes and heavier cars/ trucks driving on the road located by the flat until quite late at night (I am a light sleeper). In any case, this may be of no importance if you can sleep with some traffic noise. Throughout the evening I could also hear some noises from the people in the owner's flat above mine, however they did stop soon after 10pm, so that was good. The bed mattress was a bit too soft for my liking (and without orthopedic support). The bed sheets were not at all or not 100% cotton, which for me personally is a problem - I got hot repeatedly from the synthetic fabrics during the night.

Very clean and tidy

Nothing all was good!

The flat was spacious, clean, comfortable, quiet and cool in the July 26 heatwave. The small outdoor eating area was a bonus. The flat was well stocked with tea, coffee, cutlery etc. Thank you for all the ice.

The flat was clean and tidy, looking very new, and there were plenty of facilities. The fridge is a great size and if there were more pans for cooking you could manage to cater really well for yourselves.

The blinds in the bedroom were broken, though usable. There was a fitting unfinished in the bathroom and we could not get the towel rail to come on to heat that room and dry our towels. There were few kitchen utensils for cooking, we could have had more pans and there were no oven trays as I recall. The lighting in the living area was too bright for us for relaxing, so we used the floor lamp when watching tv. A second bedside lamp in the bedroom would have been nice.
