Hidden among the tranquil pine forests of Kootwijk, this charming bungalow offers a peaceful retreat for up to six guests, where nature’s calm meets simple comfort. Perfect for families or small groups, it’s a place where mornings begin with birdsong and fresh forest air, and evenings unfold to the quiet rustle of trees beneath a starlit sky.

Inside, the bungalow is warm, welcoming, and designed for relaxed living. The cozy living room invites you to unwind with a comfortable seating area, dining table, TV with German channels, and a DVD player for movie nights after a day outdoors. The open kitchen is fully equipped with modern conveniences — a gas stove, coffee pad machine, combination microwave, dishwasher, toaster, and fridge-freezer — making it easy to prepare home-style meals together. Three bright bedrooms, each with twin beds, offer peaceful rest for everyone, while the bathroom includes a shower, washbasin, and toilet. Central heating, Wi-Fi, and a private sauna add a touch of everyday luxury to your stay.

Step outside and breathe in the forest air on your private terrace, complete with garden furniture and a parasol — the perfect setting for morning coffee or a relaxed barbecue. Families will appreciate the playpen and high chair, while cycling and hiking enthusiasts can explore scenic trails that wind directly from the doorstep. Nearby, the vast Kootwijkerzand sand dunes — known as the “Sahara of the Netherlands” — await exploration, as does De Hoge Veluwe National Park with its wildlife and the world-renowned Kröller-Müller Museum. The nearby towns of Apeldoorn and Barneveld offer cozy cafés and local culture, rounding out a perfect escape where nature, comfort, and simplicity live in harmony.
