We had a wonderful stay at Victoria Vale! The owners are absolutely lovely, kind and incredibly welcoming people. The apartment was spotless — honestly, probably the cleanest place we have ever stayed in through Booking.com. It is very spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room, and has absolutely everything you could possibly need. Even little things like aluminium foil and cling film were provided, which was such a nice touch! Having a washing machine was also a huge plus, especially during a longer stay. The view from the apartment is beautiful — you can see the ocean and banana trees all around the house, which makes the place feel truly special. The location is also great and very easy to reach by car. Everything about our stay was wonderful and it made our trip to Madeira even more enjoyable. We highly recommend Victoria Vale and would happily stay here again. If we come back to Madeira, we will definitely check Victoria Vale first — as long as they have availability! ❤️

The only small downside is that there is no window or air conditioning, but honestly, it wasn’t a major issue for us and didn’t significantly affect our comfort during the stay.

A cozy place run by kind hosts who kindly allowed us to check in earlier. We were also offered bananas as a welcome gift which was a nice Madeiran touch.

The apartment is in the basement so it is rather dark and stuffy inside. Also, the drainage in the shower needs some maintenance as the water doesn't run down as fast as it should.
