HOMESTAY OLD QUARTER Ha Noi - MAISON 105 MA MAY

The apartment is right in the centre of the Old Town. The bed is very comfortable and the place has everything you need. The staff is super helpful and friendly, they are very present and they really make sure you have everything you need. Thank you for everything!

The hotels location is in walking distance to everything you want to do in Hanoi. The rooms are super clean and the provided breakfast next door, had one of the best banh’s I have had (the bread was text book perfect.) You complete the check in process by yourself however it’s super straight forward and someone was available to help via WhatsApp even when I arrived pretty late at night. The details given prior to arrival were super thorough. You need to enter via a downstairs shop who while I was there, spent a day doing minor renovations. It didn’t impact me at all but the start made contact to insure everything was okay and if they could help- just the little bit of extra care that goes the mile. Every time I made contact via WhatsApp I had a reply within minutes.

This is EVERYWHERE in Vietnam but the rooms are up flights of stairs. I didn’t have much luggage so it was fine but if you are traveling with heavy suitcases, it’s worth asking if they’re have lower levels available.

Good location! We also loved the breakfast. On our last day we had to leave really early (before breakfast time) as we were going on a tour, and the staff were kind enough to prepare breakfast for us the night before!

Rooms are smaller than they appear in the pictures, especially the bathroom. We were a group of four and the room was not prepared for this - there weren’t bath towels for everyone and no bedding was available for the sofa-bed.
