Baan Sawasdee Resort

Quiet, off the main road. Freshly renovated and great hosts. Very accommodating and friendly.

This resort was exactly what I was looking for. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped—everything you need to feel comfortable. It was also very bright, with large windows and curtains. The bathroom was well stocked with toiletries, which was a nice touch. The resort itself is not very big, but it has a pool with sunbeds, which is great—although I personally spent most of my time at the beach. The beach is just a 5-minute walk away, very calm and beautiful, and the whole area has a მშვიდ and relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast was simple but more than enough to start the day, and the coffee was excellent. I especially want to thank the girl at the reception—she was incredibly friendly and helpful and really made my stay even better. She gave great recommendations and helped me organize things like ferry bookings. I truly enjoyed my stay and would love to come back again!

I honestly have no negative points to mention—everything met my expectations.

Die Zimmer waren morgens doch etwas zu hell, ich würde empfehlen eine Möglichkeit zu schaffen den Raum besser abzudunkeln.

Just want to say that the owners and the staff here are kind and welcoming and went beyond what they needed to to help me in a stressful situation that was unrelated to my stay. My score is based on my experience of the property and is not a reflection of the team who are exceptional and provide an excellent service! Bungalows are really spacious and clean. Bathrooms and showers are the best I’ve seen on this trip to Thailand, and I’ve stayed in varied accommodation - brand new, super clean and good quality fittings and great water pressure. If you are a group or a family that would be sharing out the cost of these large bungalows, and want to be closer to the action then I definitely recommend.

I agree with other reviews about noise and comfort levels of the bungalows - unfortunate design features and proximity to the main road made for a less comfortable stay for me. Facilities were quite scarce and the terraces, pool and dining area didn’t feel private or secluded. There are no security issues to worry about but I didn’t find the layout relaxing as everything feels very open to the road and the building site next door. If you are a couple or (like me) solo traveller looking for privacy, peace and quiet then I would look elsewhere.
