We were contacted by a representative by phone who arranged to meet us at the apartment. She was very pleasant and explained where things were and gave us information on where to book trips etc. The location was perfect for getting around Funchal and near to all the restaurants and bars, the view from the balcony was lovely. We were able to book trips to other parts of the island at the information office across the road. The apartment itself was spacious and clean and had everything we needed.

It could be slightly noisy on a night, it's quite a busy road, but this may have been because of Festival do Atlantico which was on during the week we were there and there were events in the park opposite. The only other thing was the beds...they were so hard!

That’s a beautiful apartment, located in a very nice location of Funchal. I guess the balcony and the view you get speaks the most. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms make up a good option for 4 people traveling together. We were welcomed by very nice flat agent. She instructed us accordingly.

After a couple of minutes first downsides showed up: - Tap water pressure can get very low limiting its frequent use. - One of balcony doors couldn’t be closed thus one might risk a theoretical chance of being robbed. We closed the door room for our peace of mind. - Appliances: you get 2 knives, each od them with moveable parts plus after touching its wooden surface you end up with very tiny splinters in your fingers!!!! Thus we avoided using it altogether till the end of our stay. - You’re given 4 toilet paper rolls. Awkwardly admitting, it’d be nicer from the apartment just providing a greater number in order to avoid a bit of embarrassment of asking for more. - I think it’s fair to mention it. The apartment is placed in a very loud area. It didn’t bother us that much but for some people it might be a bit too much. - You’re given a parking lot, yet don’t count on that because your place might be occupied by someone else and yet the apartment management cannot do much about it.
