Comfortable apartment. Walking distance to pier, metro station and local supermarket. Well equipped kitchen; we appreciated basics such as cooking equipment and some cooking essentials. Not having to buy sugar, oil, coffee, spices was very helpful as big packs would have been wasted. Comfy bed and beach towels at our disposal was also helpful. We also like the rooftop terrace for an evening drink, nice option when you want to be outdoor but also rest at the same time.

Building can only be accessed using wifi. Without that, it would have been a major issue accessing the apartment. Luckily, we had access to internet via pre-booked sim card, but we felt that the need for wifi should have been communicated prior to arriving, as otherwise for someone from outside of US it would be a major issue. The concierge wasn’t very helpful. On our arrival, he told us that renting apartment is against the owners lease and said we should not be there. He kept saying he can’t advise us on things we’ve occasionally asked about, so navigating things were a slight challenge, but with time, we got our head around the building, so it was fine.

The apartment is well appointed, it has everything you’ll need- the kitchen had every single appliance, tool and spices, oils, etc.

My main issue was you cannot control the temperature in the apartment- it’s controlled by the building, and we felt warm too often. Although being under the ceiling fan in the bedroom was fine.
