The Hyve Budget Hotel Rotterdam

It was central and clean

It was too claustrophobic, more suitable for a youth hostel and at ground floor very noisy

Cheap & efficient

Small, really small

Good location in Rotterdam

Please be careful when booking, they charge your a €100 holding fee without it being mentioned on their page - we had to ask three separate times for this to be returned. They also ask for €75 in cash as a deposit when arriving also not mentioned. All of this was on top our original payment which said we could pay arrival but then charged our card on a random day with no warning. After our stay we looked at our bank account and they had set our payment as a bi weekly payment so if we didn’t check and block this payment we would have been charged the price of the room every two weeks. Proceed with caution.
