Spacious lounge with comfy sofas.
Easy to access property
Beds and bedding good.
The approach just outside the front door was uneven.
The path that had been created was difficult due to the laurel hedge being overgrown.

We stayed at the Stables as a pit stop on the way to Cornwall but could easily have stayed longer. The property is well furnished, very comfortable and beautifully decorated.
The bed was very comfy, the shower very powerful and hot (it's quite rare that I enjoy a shower away from home).
The kitchen had everything you could need
The outside space was also lovely although the drought and heatwaves have left it feeling like we were in a greek or Turkish setting!
And when our dog decided he would invite him into the adjacent owners' house they brought him back after making friends!
We really enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to return

The property was clean, spacious and so welcoming for us and the dogs. Treats and a water bowl was a great touch for the dogs. The water pressure in the bathrooms was fantastic and the en-suite shower room was fab. Felt totally at home and will definitely stay again…. If they’ll have us.
There wasn’t anything I didn’t like but I do think if you have mobility issues the entrance may be a problem.

Serene Devon getaway spot, perfect if attending events at the Lapford Mill next door. Convenient to the Lapford train station and Spar convenience store.
