Location was perfect. To help manage other people’s expectations the kitchen and bathroom here were not very clean or modern. But for me that wasn’t important. I needed someone to stay overnight at a decent price and it was perfect. The owner has clearly done the maintenance them self and it could be improved by getting someone in to fix some of the work they’ve done eg seal round the shower and bath. If those things matter to you this isn’t the place for you but if you’re like me and don’t need anything fancy or spectacular this place is great. It was warm. Comfortable. Decent security. I loved it - my wife who’s a bit fancier and posh not so much

I had a brilliant stay at Central Retreat on Sauchiehall Street. The location honestly couldn’t be better — right in the middle of everything, with shops, restaurants, bars, and transport links all just steps away. It made exploring the city incredibly easy. The apartment itself was spotless, modern, and very comfortable. The bed was especially cosy, and everything felt welcoming and well thought out. It had everything I needed for a relaxing stay, and the kitchen facilities were great for longer visits. Despite being so central, it was surprisingly peaceful at night, which I really appreciated. Communication was smooth from start to finish, with clear instructions and a hassle-free check-in process. I’d absolutely stay here again and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient, comfortable base in Glasgow.
