Omg the view was incredible. The place was incredibly clean and had everything we needed.

Nothing, it was perfect.

The house is located at the top of the street and the 180 degree views of Hobart are spectacular. The house is very spacious with 2 large bedrooms at either end which both have their own ensuites, and amazing window seats with views over Hobart. The third bedroom was a decent size with room to move, and its own bathroom right outside the door, with toilet, vanity and shower. The kitchen is huge with everything you need to prepare meals during your stay. The dining table placed next to floor to ceiling glass so you can enjoy the view as you eat. The converted living area with floor to ceiling glass and large lounge suite with plenty of room for the family to sit was cosy. A large flatscreen TV in this room, but with the beautiful views of Hobart to just sit and admire, you don’t need a TV. The 2 main bedrooms and the living room all have their own reverse cycle air conditioning. The bus stop is a 4 minute walk from the house which will get you into Hobart or Salamanca Market (Saturday) if you desire. It cost $1.70 per adult on weekends and $1.00 per child. It is a steep walk back to the house if you choose to catch the bus back..perfect for those fit people..we did it and we are not young. It is about a 10 minute drive to the main shopping area of Sandy Bay where you will find both Coles and Woolworths Supermarkets, lots of other varieties of shops, services, and various Dining options. Our host Heidi was amazing. Always great communication, and when we needed extra clothes pegs for our washing, she was at our door in a short amount of time with our pegs. Very lovely person to talk with. Our son says it is his favourite place we have stayed so far on our holiday.
